Army or Air force for wheeled mechanic?

Im trying to decide between the army or air force for wheeled mechanic. In the army its 91B and in the air force its Vehicle and Vehicular Equipment Maintenance Apprentice. I want to do this mos because i like working on cars and i feel that this will help me the most in the civilian world. My question is which branch is better for this mos army or air force? Can i get ASE CERTIFIED in the air force or army? I also have a family my son and my wife. Which branch will help the most with getting them a place to live? Will i be able to see my family at least 1 time a week? I plan to stay in till i can retire because i feel that will be the best thing for me. I am 21 years old just in case you need to no my age.
