Should I leave an independent repair shop for a dealership?

I have been working at the same independent repair shop for about 7 years now. ASE certified master tech and head tech at the shop. Been thinking a lot about leaving for a dealership lately basically because I realize that I am not going to be able to turn wrenches forever and it would be nice to have a company matched retirement plan and a pension when I'm older. I'd like to hear from other techs who have worked been in the field for a while to see differences in working at a dealer vs independent. Also, the idea of not working on rusty cars from 1995 seems pretty good to me too!
