NASA vs. IBM internship?

Two magnificent opportunities and I'm happy for you (well jealous actually). Now down to reality. You have to think long term. The NASA budget has been a bit iffy over the last few years so although they may have funded programs you have to ask yourself how long will these last and if cuts happen will you be vulnerable. When it comes to job cuts it usually means last in first out. IBM on the other hand has always had a self improvement program whereby you can take internal exams in various disciplines and move departments accordingly depending on qualifications and vacancy availability. The other things to take into account is lifestyle e.g. White Plains vs Wa DC.
