People bullying me...?
I'm a 17 and a half year old male and a senior in high school. I am physically disabled, diagnosed with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and use a power wheelchair because I can't stand up/walk/jog/run at all. I have limited movements in my hands. Although I have no problems mentally and emotionally. I am a very healthy person. In school I have a one-on-one aide/para (helper) that helps me out physically. I don't do bad stuff ie.(drinking/drugs/gangs/etc.) I am interested in federal law enforcement, to become an FBI Linguist/Professional Staff as an Applied Science, Engineering & Technology (ASE&T) professional in Photography/Film/Video/Audio (P/F/V/A). Working in the Civil Rights division, either in Hate Crime, Color of Law or Freedom of Access to Clinics subdivisions, but mostly in Freedom of Access to Clinics because they have task forces that focus specifically on disabled/elderly people's civil rights. I also take a Law Enforcement/Homeland Security course in the high school I attend. Anyways a lot of people bully me in a sneaky way. They kind of challenge me with my disability. For example they say, "U can't be an FBI agent cuz ur crippled." That kind of makes me upset sometimes, but I know that a lot of disabled people work in police depts., FBI, other law enforcement agencies, gov't jobs, etc. U don't just carry gun and badge, there are other jobs u can do. What should say to people like that? Lol...
