If the engine needs major repairs which it probably does due to low oil level, you should get another motor from a wrecking yard. If you just dump the car at a low price as is, you would be throwing money away. Whoever buys it will simply get a good used engine from a yard at about $200, install it and gain the value that you could have had. It depends on what kind of shape the rest of the car is in to help you decide to fix it or sell as is. Good luck.
