Help on becoming an auto mechanic?

The automotive field is a very challanging field. It costs a lot of money to buy the special tools to work on some of these cars. A lot of people will tell you its a bad industry to get into. You have to really enjoy it and be a motor head. Its not a field for someone that doesn't like to work or doesn't have their priorities straight. I have been in the field for about 5 years now.
